Personal development at Ongar Primary School
Our personal development programme supports every child to grow into a confident, responsible and well‑rounded young person. Through a blend of learning, enrichment and real‑life experiences, pupils build character, understand the world around them and develop the skills they need for the future. We aim to ensure every child thrives in school and feels ready for the next stages of their education and life beyond.
Character and personal growth

- We teach children how to understand their emotions, build positive relationships and make healthy choices for their bodies and minds.
