In English today, we have our zoom lesson at 11am or 11.40am. After our zoom lesson you must complete the independent work that I have set you. 

My example: 

For the last few days (the last week of June), they had been falling from the sky. Nobody knew where they had come from; nobody knew why they were there. My friend – the one who normally panics- believes that it was a nightmare coming true. 

The mysterious objects, most of them spherical in shape, lay there on the beach, motionless, immovable despite the tide’s best efforts to eradicate them from the shoreline.

Then, a crack began to appear on the surface…

Tasks:

One star: to write sentences about the hatching picture. Include brackets in your sentences.

Two star: to write a setting description of the hatching of the egg using brackets and dashes to add extra information.

Three star: to write a setting description of the hatching of the egg using a variety of parenthesis.
