‘challenge yourself, inspire others’

Monday

Well done Year 6

You did it! You have done such a fantastic job of completing your Home Learning. I am so proud of every single one of you. The skills that you have learnt during this time are going to help you enormously when you go up to secondary school. This is our last week of Home Learning so we just need to try and keep up that hard work at home for one more week. I can't wait to have you all back in the classroom and to see all of your smiling faces.

Today, you need to complete:

  • 1 hour of English - Zoom lesson at 10am
  • 1 hour of Maths - Zoom lesson at 11am
  • 1 hour of family learning - this could be making your costume
  • 1/2 hour of Reading (Bug Club, Lexia or you can read a book from home)
  • 15 minutes of TT Rockstars
  • 15 minutes of Spellings

World Book Day Challenge

This Thursday, it is World Book Day. Each day this week I am going to set you a World Book Day challenge. Today, I would like you to create your own costume of a book character. Below, I have linked a page which shares lots of ways to make a costume easily at home. I would love to see all of your costumes so please send me a picture by Friday. There will be a prize for the best costume in our class. I will announce the winner of the prize on our Friday zoom lesson.
