One star: to write complex sentences about the picture using the conjunctions: as,

because and although

 

Two star: to write a setting description of outer space using a variety of complex sentences

(where the conjunction is at the start of the sentence and where it in the middle of the sentence.)

 

Three star: to write a setting description of outer space using a variety complex, simple

and compound sentences

As the astronaut gazed around in a state of awe and wonder, he stood and admired what he saw.
