LO To add 'ed' to words ending in 'y'

Today we are learning to change words that end in 'y' to past tense.

Carry --->  carried

try --->  tried

cry ---> cried

When we change the word from present to past tense we need to change the

y to an i and add ed.

Step 1:  change the 'y' to an 'i'

Step 2: add ed
